Greetings Grover's

Can anyone remember the poster pictures that used to be on the walls of the "Old" Grove.

One I remember is Crosby Stills Nash and Young.

Help me out here. The old memory is fading. Think I enjoyed myself too much back in those days !!!

Know the feeling Pat! I generally couldn't focus on the walls let alone the posters.I do remember the one you mentioned- it was from the cover of an album by Crosby Stills Nash & Young called "Déjá vu" (1970) Cecil used to play "Our House" from it.I have a vague recollection of a Neil Young poster too from Harvest Moon.

if you go back out to the grove documentary you will see that Pogue has done a posting on the posters of the old grove.

I only went to the grove in the early 80's when it was in St Pauls but have to say I really enjoyed hearing about the old grove in the shed on the documentary last night...all those old photos were great, and I wonder who owned the diary all about when it was burnt down. There was no posters on the walls in st pauls so sorry timeflash can't help you out.

Maybe this topic needs a twist.

what posters did people have on their walls at home?
Be brave....

I had a poster of Middle earth and Led Zeppelin I had one or two others but these would have been A4 size and changed from time to time.

And here's a weird one, when I was about 12 it was Madonna..

When I was 12/13 yrs...back in 1977 my bedroom was full of John Travolta from the movie "Grease" and Starsky and Hutch.(tv series)..but then I discovered The Beatles...and my bedroom became a shrine to them....used to wake up every morning with John Lennon and Paul McCartney smiling down on me.....ahhhhh sweet memories ...but my bedroom was nothing compared to HD's....but I'll let him tell you that story
