Okay Flumphert. Firstly..you can't upload directly to the site from your PC. You will need to open an account with an online photohosting service such as Flikr or Photobucket. I use both. You can set up a free account with either of these. Links below:

http://www.flickr.com/ - Flikr

http://photobucket.com/ - Photobucket

Once you have set up your account..you need to upload your photo to your chosen host. When you have done this you will get a url(link) to the photo which you can then add to a post here by clicking on the little tree icon above.

I'd suggest using Photobucket for starters as it is a bit easier to set up.

Hope this helps. If it doesn't come back to me and I'll try and do you a more detailed explanation. First thing to do thouugh is set up the Photohosting account. When you've done that let me know. :-)

When you have uploaded your pic to Photobucket (or wherever) you'll have something like this when you log in:

Then all you need to do is copy the text in the URL Link box by right clicking and selecting copy.

You then go to your post here on the GSC and click on the little tree icon and right click in the dialogue box and choose PASTE. This will put the text from Photbucket into the dialogue box..then all you have to do is click OK and bobs yer Uncle...Your image will be up..

I hope ...

Deadly. Let's get Garda Patrol back going. I can just see it now.....

"Gardai are seeking an individual, who appears to have been a youth in the 1967-1997 era. spotted in the Raheny area of the Northside of Dublin during the Christmas period. Dressed in strange clothing of the leather and denim variety, the individual was seen performing an act of larceny. The face was obscured by hair, and some form of scarf popular in the middle east.

It is thought that some local ritual was being enacted involving chanting and fevered dancing. although, dancing not as we know it. Gardai do not believe that human sacrifice was a factor. Outsiders, particularly those from south of the river, should not approach large gatherings of individuals from these localities"
