Hey - I have gathered (from my own collection & Limewire) and uploaded 97 popular Grove Songs. Most of them are the ones I remember from the early-mid nineties period, with a few classics thrown in (that said, a lot of the songs were played throughout most of the Grove eras). I have uploaded them all as MP3s, so you can all download them for free. LINK DELETED Also included - for those of you with "Nero", there are 7 projects that will burn all the songs to CDs in order of the tracklist file below, and for those of you with "CD Labelprint", there are 7 print files to make nice discs with track listings & graphics printed on them. Anywho - here are the songs: LINK DELETED http://www.maxtronmedia.com/grove/Tracklist.doc - There is also a PLAYLIST file in the main folder, for your ease! Enjoy! Sean. Sean the download wouldnt open on my pc said file was corrupt, anyone have ne probs downloading this file?? I scanned it with AVG and Norton before i tried to open file and they said it was ok Any ideas anyone?? ------------- All I wanted was chips!! |

meh - not too bothered, TBH. Nobody on dialup is gonna bother downloading it, and anyone with Broadband shouldn't take more than an hour! One file is handier than seven, no?! -------------

Thanks Sean. Its interesting reading your tracklists. As you can see, my grove career ended as yours was beginning. I often wondered what songs after I left would be Grove songs from current bands after 91. I suspected grundge and maybe britbop. Its funny how songs can be associated with a particular time and place. I always associate metal and goth with the Grove. I graduated to fibbers after for a few years and associate that with grunge and early britpop. It was weird at a reunion hearing Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains as they were after my time. I always said it was an advantage of sorts to have gone to the grove in later years in terms of the reunion - you are more likely to know nearly every song - since Cecil retained the best of while progressing with the times.... ------------- Keep it Local, Keep it Near! |

Just listening to some of the tracks here in work...and I'm pretty sure that the version of Vincent on the listing is not Don McLean!! Or if it is, it isn't one I've heard before. It sounds more like a young Willie Nelson, which it obviously isn't.
