GREAT PIC. HAVE TO SAY I WOULDVE LOVED TO SEE MORE EARLY NINETIES STUFF IN THE DOCUMENTARY AS I FELT IT DEALT WITH MORE OF THE EARLY GROVERS. THAT ASIDE I THINK THERE IS HUGE SCOPE FOR MORE DOCUMENTARIES TO BE MADE AND IF NOT THEN MAYBE RTE COULD ISSUE A DVD RELEASE OF IT, IM SURE IT WOULD BE A GOOD SELLER

Thats gas actually Smashing as I felt that the late 70s until late 80s didnt get any coverage at all. I asked Joe about this at the "webcast" night earlier in the summer in Andys place and he told me that they basically hadnt got any interviewees from that era...oh well.

Can't remember . You know the morning of the second shoot 22 December 2005 the lads arrived at 7.30 and we had to hang around till after 8am till it bright. It was the day before I went to Thailand and the morning after a Christmas night out. I was knackered
We tried to shoot scenes on my road but too much wind was being picked up on the mike. Then I drove my motorbike all around my estate after Joe's car with him shooting, it was gas. people didn't know what was going on.
We eventually ended up in my back garden to get the sound quality right.
There's loads of film and chat that never made the documentary.
I have to say it gave me enormous satisfaction and pride to be a part of this documentary.

I can't retrieve the 32A thread so I decided to post this update here. I hope it doesn't upset anyone (Mr. moderator). I know how gentle and sensitive you all are about our precious forum.
Like may of you, I missed the screening of 32A and have been waiting patiently for the DVD. I thought it was due for relase this month. I have tried on-line and popped into various record shops but to no avail. In desperation I sent an e-mail to Janey Pictures and received a lovely reply from Tommy.
Dear Brian
Thanks for your interest in the DVD of 32A. We'd hoped for April, but the distributors have indicated June or July.
We'll definitely let you know, we very keen to see it out there.
Thanks for your interest
Best wishes

Can't wait for this either, having missed the screening.
On another note,I feel it only right to mention how Tonto's brother,David, supplied a lot of the stills and photo's for the doc, except he never received any credit for it. Unfortunately, someone else did.
I know this to be true not from Tonto but from another source. Suppose it doesn't really matter now-the result is greater than the means,I suppose, and I did mention this during the podcast, but I think he felt he might have received some credit. The fact he didn't put his hand up or rant about it would be another reason, but hey-at least they made it in the finished product and that is what matters.
Wasn't there loads of 'cutting room florr' stuff which was supposed to get some sort of airing?

Doubt we'll ever see the uncut stuff. I know Joe McElwaine mentioned it before but as time passes and people move on to other projects the makers of the documentary probably don't have time to put a "director's cut" together.
