oh how  loved the old days

 Cecil played the best records he was the best dj around we sat up next to him and it was heaven oh we danced it was always crowded  i met my hubby there one night in 1965 and we are still together

It was the best of times and i have great memories

 Thanks Cecil for the great songs u played

as i turn 60  im still young at heart mind you me ol ticker is not the best lol but i can still dance

Ah dont know about that Peter like I say you are just scraping into the mid thirties by a few months.

Also not being wanting to be picky but a category has to have more then one year in it  so your 38 39 and 40 should be one which you r almost in

Do you know you could probably count the number of old grove on one hand i.e. pre St Pauls day- - not impressed that some of you were only nippers when I was at the grove but there you go.

How 'bout back in the late 60's we WALKED EVERYWHERE.....now everybody is getting taxis....Lazy Bunch!

Jeez, I even remember going to a disco in town and walking home to Harmo....OK, I did have a motorcycle for a while but until then......

Even on my last trip I walked from the MA's house in Harmo every day to Beaumont Hospital......Ok, I admit, I got a taxi back (Just a wee bit older now)....to The Horse n Hound.....LOL....Repeat next day (Maybe a different pub though)
