Hi there pat,
Gordon here, just wanted to give you advance warning that Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake is guesting with us on a quick tour in March.Bernie is probably best known for writing songs like 'Here I Go Again', 'Aint No Love In The Heart Of The City', 'Fool For Your Loving', etc...
We're only doin 5 nights around the country from the 12th to the 17th of March, finishing off with a very special gig on St Patricks Day in Navan, when Johnny Fean from Horslips will also guest with us.
Hard to believe, but we're playing on the 15th in the Slaughtered Lamb in Swords!
This is a rare chance to see one of the greats with us in one of our favourite venues, you will never see the likes of this again.
We have decided to limit the number of tickets to 100, only our true friends and fans. I seen a few of the Grovers at a wild gig we did in balbriggan the other night, i was going to tell them about the gig but thought maybe you might want to organise a night out for the crew around this very special event?
Let me know what you think, numbers are limited and we're getting inundated of enquires from people but Pat, Paul and myself wanted to make sure you guys get first refusal on the tickets, by way of a sincere thanks to you and to all your fellow Grovers for your loyal support over the last year.
By the way admission will be a very reasnoble €10, or there will be a special commemrative t-shirt and ticket
for €22, either way its terrific value.
It will be an early enough gig, we will play from 8pm to 10.15pm, so there will be plenty of time for a chat or autographs and photos afterward.

Talk to you soon,
Where are you?

Gordon Sheridan

Unfortunately not Grainne. Too much going on at the minute to think about taking something else on.

I'll ask Pat what the story is about tickets.

Pat, are you sorting the tickets for March 15th?

If nobody is organising so far, I am happy to try to sort the tickets if somebody can give me contact details for Gordon.

UA If we can get the contact details of Gordan, we can all look after ourselves I suppose, its not fair to have one person been expected to run around and sort it out.. Just PM Gordan details to us and we can give him a shout or we just get a deffo list of how many is going and tell him to hold to that many for us...

Pete, I don't mind doing it if Pat can't. Just need contact details

Looks like we need 10-12 tickets but I am conscious they only have 100 tickets in total.

Is anybody going to the Slaughtered Lamb on Friday, and if so can you ask about tickets for March 15th? If you can get a price and contact number about where to buy the tickets I am happy to order and pay as long as they are available, and those who come can settle up with me on the 15th

So far it looks like we have at least 13 ticket requests - apologies if I have missed anybody but I think the list to date is Uncle Arthur, Brunswick, Grainne, Black Russian + softlad, Blondie, Tupalopenny, Rolo, Esthalon, Sharon, Rolo, Shorthair hippie, Finno.

We will no doubt need a few extra so we probably need 16 tickets

I've been in contact with Pat over the last few days and he tells me that there's no problem approaching Gordon as he wants to reserve a few tickets for the Grove people.
