    Posted: 23-May-2008 at 13:14

Hi

Just talking to Cecil.

Andy is trying to organise the Web Cast for early June. This will go out live, Irish Time, but will also be available on the web for those who wish to watch it at their leisure

Heres your chance to ask the famous Cecil Nolan , D.J. the question you always wanted to ask.

So lets have them, and remember, anyone asking an unsuitable one will be taken on deck and whipped.

Cecil will also be playing stuff that he played at the Grove but wouldn't normally be used at the re-unions. You know the songs that you'll remember straight away but you won't have heard a lot since.

I wonder should we post this in the open section of the Forum ?????

Exactly Joey,

Don't know what a web cast is ( but I want one !!)   my question - Did he ever regret the fact that he spent all those weekends for years entertaining us when he could have been out somewhere enjoying himself ?   Oh and give him my love

Ive a few questions ild like to ask

------------------------------------------------------------ ---

When you are about to go on the stage to spin the 1st record....what goes through your mind?

What is your favourite all time record and why?

What was the 1st record you ever bought and have you still got it?

What record in your famous collection are you most embarressed about?

Who or what inspired you to become a DJ ?

What music do you listen to while driving?

Can you play any musical instruments?

What 3 items would you bring to a desert island?

If you could turn back time would you do it all again?

------------------------------------------------------------ -----

Thats my few for now I'm sure ill think of some more before the webcast

GARY CAN YOU MAKE SURE ITS COPIED SO I CAN SEE IT IF ITS ON WHILE IM AWAY......Thanks in advance xxx

I cant believe no1 has questions for Cecil

Come on folks get those questions submitted.

Gary I think maybe this should go in the open forum for all to view and maybe get some newbies posting their questions.

What was your very favorite moment at the grove?

Is there anything that sticks out in your mind more than others.

great questions Sharon!
As it's a broadcast over the web, I take it everyone should be able to join in live at the given time, so you can take an hour off from the beach and pop into an internet cafe

I wonder what 'eras' Cecil liked most over the 30 years

Questions for Cecil:

How did you put up with the constant tomfoolery on the stage (St Pauls) over the years?

Are there any "Grove" songs you didnt like but felt that you had to play them as they were popular with the crowd?

I also want to know the answer to MaryI's question re getting out and enjoying himself instead of entertaining us lot every weekend.

Thats all I can think of for now...

Was talking to Cecil today and I believe this was a huge success and many congratulations to all who were involved.

I was away and unfortunately did not see it.
May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Spent 3 hours today with Muller, at his pad, watching the webcast.

It was superb and I can tell you this, it was better than most if not all chat shows on the TV.

It was a hoot in parts, I nearly wet myself re the gay show

Well done all and thanks Muller for your time today.
