most of the people on here seem to be oldies (like rolo and biker pat - hahahaha) so I was just wondering who is a young un like meself, and will be going to the proper grove reunion on sunday, where there wont be a zimmer frame or walking stick in sight - and we will be able to mosh without fear of breaking a pelvis, or loosing our slippers :p

I would have had them all fooled as well. would've had to wait until half twelve before introducing meself to Rolo! Otherwise he'd see through me. first pints in 46 days will have him cross eyed. Am going on Saturday night - but I would be classed as one of the "young ones".....getting very worried that myself and the others coming with me are going to be outnumbered by the more....ahem...."mature" generation!!!! Ah well, on a positive note, at least I'll be available for toilet duty etc...those zimmer frames are difficult to get into those bathrooms!!!!!!

Hey all, Mad as it may seem,we are all writing in here and asking who is going on the sunday?but when we get there we will still be none the wiser who we are are mailing Lenny and sister1.Do you not agree,would love to see some of the cowd from yrs ago and meet up for a bev with the people on the sie coz as far as i can see the sturday night crew are all buddies at this stage?!but we don't know the faces behind the names......

You should definitely try to arrange something like: anyone who posts on this site meet up in the bar beforehand, or at left of the stage at a given time, or get Cecil or Andy to announce a get together! I got the impression too that everyone here knew each other and was surprised last Hallowe'en when most people met up physically for the first time! (thanks to Pat for suggesting the 'left of stage' spot) will miss meeting all ye posters here who aren't going Saturday, - enjoy Sunday CP |
