Well it's now the following day after Wackers celebration...few sore heads this morning. Had a great barbecue in his back garden where he (and his luvly missus Babs) organised a bouncy castle for the wee ones (and me and Tonto) and they had a blast. Then we went to the tourist attraction...Roches in Donadee. As soon as I walked into the place I could feel the slant (mentioned earlier it's built on a bog and it sunk over the years)...as Tonto said it feels like your on a boat. The ceiling was about 9feet from the ground at one end of the pub and the other end it was about 7 feet from the ground. Great spot-thanks Wacker for bringing us...and heres a tip-don't get that taxi fellah again as he definitely took the scenic route home...felt like via Donegal... |
