Ron Asheton, original guitarist (and occasional bassist) for The Stooges passed away today aged 60.
Reportedly a heart attack. :( |

I just saw this too, sad. And bizarely i was only listening to stooges a couple of hours ago to get me in mood for a run! Seen them and iggy a few times over the years, always great fun.

Aye, i was lucky to see them perform a (cut short) set at Slane a couple of years back. Really were intense as a live act. |
