What about Bobby Gentry's "Ode To Billy Joe".
May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Did you know that Dusty Springfield was the first lesbian ever.
She came out of the closet way back in the 60's when it was not cool. I
didn't even know what a lesbian was at the time...I still don't.

I don't believe that Pogue. I remember you saying that you wanted to be a lesbian to increase your chances of getting a chick.

At one stage this was the longest

single ever recorded and was great

for a slow set.

"McArthur Park" - Richard Harris

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su3JdzUUuH4

I still love this song.

Seven and a half minutes of pure bliss.

Sharon you have a better mind

than mine,I thought it was about

a guy blowing dope in a park when

it starts to rain and the lovely

cake he has just rolled gets left

behind in his haste for shelter.

I always liked ambiguous lyrics

it used to give me something to

to talk(now post) about.

I think Strawberry Fields and Eleanor Rigby are the two best Beatle's
songs.

Brought some music to Bangkok last year and an English guy I know went bananas when "Will Youl" by Hazel O'Connor blemmed from the bar speakers, courtesy yours truly.

Told him about The Grove..................
