Not bad-hope you're still rockin'...

There's loads of others you'll know in here.

Think the last time I saw you was in the bike shop I used to work in and you were browsing (wow-that wasn't yesterday or the day before...)

I saw that too Mary. Forgotten all about it until you mentioned it.

Wasn't he also in the video for "You can call me Al"?

And while I´m at it, did you know that the very first drummer in Steely Dan was non other than Chevy Chase. The band was called "The Leather Canary" at the time and changed their name to Steely Dan when Chevy Chase left. The rest is history, as they say.

I´ll add another couple of drummers to the list.

Bernard Purdie
Steve Gadd

I love Steely Dan. What a great band.

Thanks Ciaran,

Don't have it either - must add it onto the list of things to get.

Impressive list, Aries. Do you know why Jeff Baxter had the knickname skunk ?  and I didn't know that Ernie Watts every played with them  - I heard he played with the Stones on one tour in the 80's I think.

Mary - It's on Pretzel Logic - the only Steely Dan album I have.

Got it after hearing a band called the BT's playing the title track. (the lead singer was Joe Savino)

Do you mean Joe Cockers cover?

Best cover ever a classic that stands the test of time

Definitely wouldn't have been the Wet Wet Wet version! I just saw the on tv this morning talking about a comeback. In my opinion some bands should STAY gone!

Grovefan,

Really enjoyed that - however my daughter started watching other will ferrell stuff and it took me two hours to get the computer back.   Hope you had a good time at the reunion.
