Di you know that the lower part of O'Connel St (from henry St to the bridge) is wider than the Upper part? The Upper Drogheda St (as it was originally known) was two roadways and a dividing mall, each of which was 50' wide. We were told at school that it was the widest street in Europe, even wider than the Champs Elysée!
