Hi!
This year's reunion will be taking place on Saturday, November 5th, at The Abbey Tavern in Howth. Yes, a change in venue! Both Cecil and myself are really looking forward to trying it out at The Abbey Tavern. The Clontarf Castle were becoming too expensive and in order to keep ticket prices where they were, we decided it was time to move...
More details to follow!
Btw. Music finishes at 12.30 on the night so get yourselves down a little earlier and we can get all the requests in!

I'm not even supposed to be here today!

My brother was in The Abbey Tavern recently and said the place was very small so if you're meeting up beforehand it would be best to do so in The Tavern itself .

Thanks for the heads up Frank.
The place has function rooms of different sizes.  For example, I looked at their site and (for weddings) they offer 2 separate rooms (one for < 80 guests, and a separate room for 80 - 170 guests).  Also, I'd imagine that they wouldn't sell tickets for numbers greater than the function room could hold.
In any event, the plan is to hit the Waterside at 7 bells and then head around to the Abbey Tavern for around 8.30pm - 8.45pm, which is still fairly early.  We got to the Castle at around 9pm last time and we were one of the first dozen or so people to arrive.
