Hi all,

I'll be upgrading the forum software over the next 24 hours or so.
The process involves a number of steps to ensure that I don't bugger the whole site up including:
  1. Backup entire site and database
  2. Install new software in temporary location
  3. Test new software
  4. Copy user's uploaded files, etc. to the new site
  5. Replace the old site software with the new software
  6. Test the changes again!
So, in case you notice anything weird going on, it may be me.

Should the pages not load for a few minutes, please stay calm and listen to some good music!!!

If you notice anything seriously wrong, then please let me know ASAP either by email (info AT kbannon DOT com) or via FB (https://www.facebook.com/killianbannon).

Cheers
Killian

Right, the upgrade has been done but there are still a few bespoke tweaks that I want to implement.
I'll do these over the next few days when I get a moment.
Should any bugs surface, please let me know.
K.

I had a quick gander at the memberlist, Killian, and all the weird "98jhTUIK" usernames that kept "joining" the site (and we kept zapping some years back) seem to have dropped off.  Did that happen as part of the upgrade or did you have to manually remove them?  Either way, thanks.  Memberlist looks normal! Thumbs Up

Killian,

Just want to say a big thank you for keeping the website going.

I know it must take time and effort.

Sadly the participation on the site has waned and there are so few of us online here.

But from my point of view I hope we keep this website going because it introduced me to so many wonderful people.

Thanks again,

Pat
