Why is it sad Lenny, does the big angry looking ape that steps on all the buildings and terrorises the blonde get killed in the end?LOLLOL

Can't wait to see Narnia, loved those books as a kid.  Voyage of the Dawn Treader was the best.

Look at the original, black and white version..........every movie or documentary that kills off great beasts like gorillas if bound to be sad in ways.

Man, don't get me started on conservation and associated issues

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

I watched Hostel last night! the sickest movie I have ever seen.  Hubby picked it up thinking it was one I mentioned but not - did not like it at all - very gory indeed and plain yuck.

Got Capote for tonight and looking forward to seeing it - will give you a review in the morning!

Lotr is one movie to me I can't choose... I really hope he does the Hobbit... Ian McKellen(Great as Gandalf) has apparently told him he want him to do it and he wants to be in it.
I have the original cartoon of LOTR which I like, and also got my hands on The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the rings catoons they are musical cartoon and are crap

Bought a book on Sunday in Balbriggan market called "Bored of the Rings" its the adventures of Dildo Daggins haven't started it yet but its a Lampoons skit of it will review when I finish it

Agree Peter, one movie only.

I'd read the books many times over the years, used always bring it on holidays with me, and was really excited when the movies were first mentioned. I'd also seen the animated version and if I remember rightly, they ran out of cash and it ended at Helm's Deep.

Said somewhere here before that I loved Tom Bombadil and was disappointed that he wasn't in the movie.

Oh I can't stand that little happy spa singing freak Tom Bombardil I was glad he wasn't in it. Although I was told in one of the other books it explain him more I don't know now never read it.
I have First Edition of The Similarion and 50th Anniversary of The Hobbit it was the only one in the country paid 50 pounds for it The place I bought it had a great big window

Capote:

"Truman Capote (Hoffman), during his research for his book In Cold Blood, an account of the murder of a Kansas family, the writer develops a close relationship with Perry Smith, one of the killers."

Philip Seymour is absolutely fantastic as Capote.  It's a slow moving picture but very good.

I recommend it but warn you Capotes voice can get on your nerves at times.  He captures the character very well though.
