Ok, This may be a strange one for a topic - but becasue of all the talking, shouting, singing, drinking i have been doing lately - I am now loosing my voice and cannot sing at choir practice. Has anyone any good remedys for getting my singing voice back? (that doesn't include doctors or having to stay quiet?) cheers Jackie |

Hi Jackie, Can't give you any advice as I don't have a note in my head. I have heard gargling with salt water if its a sore throat and also eating honey are supposed to work. Teresa or Star being singers may have a solution for you. What kind of choir is it? |

Thanks for the tip will try anything at present. The choir is a mixed one doing a mixture of sacred and classical music for concerts and competitions. I probably did the voice damage roaring to 'dreamer' adn what not over christmas. so am off now to the health shop to see what else they can give cheers J |

ok t - - this might sound very very strange to you but some of us work for a living and don't have the luxury of .................anyway - voice still gone - -did customer presentation this morning very weird - - teaching dancing all tomorrow so that's not going to help - -have started on the honey and lemon stuff yesterday so only thing for it is rest - am going to take mond off and hide - - trying --NO TALKING for the day - -that should be a good one............ cheers J |

T did not know you were a sex therapist - same as me we should compare notes LOL Jackie, hope the voice improves - plenty of salt water rinses and honey and lemon and if you can get carrigeen (health food shop) boil handful up and add the liquid to honey and lemon. tHIS IS THE BEST LAUGH i HAVE HAD IN A WHILE - - what are you like and I was the one thinking I had lost a few brain cells now that I was getting older - - at least I'm in good company - - it's lovely to think you care so much even if it is 3 years later................
