I'm sure someone has already said it, But I want to say a BIG THANKS to Crusty and Cecil. It was a great night and no doubt you got hounded with everyone looking for their personal Grove favourites. But for me you got it on the money, All my favs were played (and I didn't have to ask for any of them).

Since you been Gone...I was right back down the Alcove, everyone around me was screaming their heads off.

More Than a Feeling, Freebird, Lola,  the list goes on.

Only problem is in addition to the whiplash I'm also Hoarse .

Thanks Again For a Fantastic night.

Seconded Esthalon!! The music was brilliant...and I was hoarse before I even went...this morning my voice is reduced to a sadly pathetic whisper...(okay..some people say that is a good thing). Speaking of requests..one of the girls that I was with.... (All 8 of them Rolo..hehehe) asked Crusty and Cecil to play Sisters of Mercy and they duly obliged a couple of somgs later...she really was thrilled and is definitely coming back with a few of her pals at Christmas....

No wonder you're wrecked Dixie.biggrin

Agree with that on the music lads. This must be my fifth or sixth Reunion and think the music was the best yet. Didn't need to ask Andy or Cecil for anything, all the favourites just kept coming.

The music was great - it really was like being back in the "old" Grove. Isnt it great that we all get older and still like the same music - Thats the Grove for you. The deep heat finally worked and the hangover finally went !!! Whats the latest on Christmas reunion - Jesus we are only over the Halloween one and want to get another one sorted out - are we sad or what !!!! I hope to get to meet whoever I didnt at the next reunion! We defo should meet up beforehand.

need you help someone has insisted that Cecil used to play Gordan Lightfoot. Now I know that he certainly didnt during the years I was there. Can you recall whether or not he did when you were there?

Hi Finno, I think I do recollect "If you could read my mind" by Gordon Lightfoot being played as part of a slow set 78-79ish

That's at the Old Grove, not the Haloween reunion, in case I'm misunderstood.
