Guys, Aren't we due a night out to tide us over to next reunion?
I'm suggesting the Nep, some Sat in February??? Do we need to do a Poll again?

I was just flicking through some old posts and the exact same thought struck me. But seeing as you're first, you can do the poll thingy (hee hee, always the gent...)
Frantically thinking of ways of drumming up brownie points at home between now and then.
Feb 24th bad for me, but think the rest is good - but no doubt the majority will rule.
Now I really better do some work today.

Very good,very good.
Well done June.
There was a lot of sweat from Mel on his last poll and in the end it wasn't really needed...
Shall we be assertive and pick a date and see if everyone can make it?
Say,Feb 17th? It's a saturday,it suits Mel (as he will probably miss the re-union),it gives a couple of weeks to arrange sitters etc. and flights if possible.
What does everyone think of 17th?

The brownie point collecting hit an immediate stumbling block.
The wife's birthday is not an acceptable evening to go meeting other people! Between moving house, a wedding and her birthday, Feb is not as free as I had thought yesterday - but arrange your date and I'll try to sneak in for an hour.

17th sounds good !
Whippersnapper, what better to quell the stress of moving; a nice birthday meal somewhere in town early, and a quiet drink in the Nep on the way home? What's this? - there seems to be some sort of Grove gathering here!!! what a coincidence....

Ah, Star, its just gotta be the Nep, I think anyway.
Not only is the Nep nice and quiet (for regular conversation) these days (apart from the TVs), but they have a cool jukebox of rock tracks and many, like me, reckon the Nep + the Grove go hand in hand.
PS. Dont forget the cool stained glass thingy of King Neptune!!

It's not a night out you need, its some counseling to get over this web addiction and this addiction you all have to this thing called the grove! Come on lads its time to put it in the past and move on with your grown up lives!
Brunswick I think I have seen lots of posting from you and from what I am reading you have been a long standing patron of the grove! Time to move on darling!
Hayseed Dixie I’m just not sure what to say to you, a grown man acting like a child.
Floydman what's the story with the obsession with pics and videos? Pm me I have a few openings and I am sure I can fit you in.
Tonto, Floydman Rolo and Mel get a bloody haircut and get into the real world.
Finno HD, no more pics please, can't bear to see all these ugly oldies smiling drunkenly.
Russ, give up the gargle, makes you unsteady on your feet.
There are some girls out here that could certainly do with a bit of advise…..
I have been a long time lurker out here and I feel quite concerned for all of you… time for some help, I will be in touch privately to find out what ails you deep inside. What brings you to this need to avoid work and spend your long days playing.

Absolutely no reason why there couldn't be an excursion to Balbriggan some Friiday night...all go to O'Shea's on the harbour-live bands every Friday. Next time the Great Escape are playing (about every month or so) you guys should give it some serious thought.Great rock band-loads of Grove type covers.Would be well worth it.

Hey Martin,
The Great Escape - agree about them, really good band! When I met Siobhan first she was living in an apartment in Donabate and we used to go to the gigs on Saturday nights in Keelings Lounge. The Great Escape were a band we both looked forward to always!

Dont think ill be able to make it on the 17th - my pals months mind mass is on and then they are having a Don Classic (Card Game) so I might have to go to the pub and get drunk with them ! Hopefully the mass is on early and then ill be able to make it. Sure if not we will organise something again for all the NCD's

Hey June,
Reckon if you'd been dancing in the snow, with or without stilettos, you'd have cold feet too.
Sorry,couldn't resist.
