While walking along the seafront this morning and seeing all the crowds heading into town for the St. Patrick`s Day Parade I started thinking about absent friends.

Happy Paddy's Day lads for Monday! Watched Danial O Donnell last night on the TV simply as I could not take my eyes off him! What kind of gobsh*te is he at all... for feck sake he had a lovely cream suit on him like a pair of curtains. Well he was singing some song about clair and your one looked like she was from Ballymun.... Show band music that I remember from Mullinavat back in the day!!!! pure tripe...

Ok tell me what is going on in Ireland! They will not let the Shamrock club have mass or the parade on Paddy's Day! Is all going ahead in Ireland as here they are not letting it happen due to Holy Week!!!!! Theresa I think it is just because it is falling in Holy Week that the actual mass can't happen on Monday but all other celebrations will be Monday. I should know when the mass is happening here as I live next door to a church but didn't notice! Maybe it was yesterday? |

Maybe not for the parade BB but we promised the kids we would bring them into town alright-the quays have lots of amusements and attractions which was really good fun last time. Bring the camera! Happy St. Patrick's Day all! Darragh is off to the parade and is going to be on the Irish float! My friends here "The Kelly's" are a big part of the Irish club and taking him with them to the big celebration down town. I am making brown bread and some soda bread and Martin is cooking a fab Irish stew and we are having friends over. Hope you all have a really nice day.

Nice quiet St. Patricks day here. Not too many celebrations in Perth. I think Easter is overshadowing it being so early. Thanks Verona for the lovely st. paddys day gift package. Rachel is a real "irish princess" so says her new t-shirt.
