Crusty not sure if you can do this but there are sites out there like schoolfriends.ie or classmates.ie which I presume you could post to, I know for one there are a lot of x-manor house girls out on these sites who also were grove goers.  It might be another way to advertise.

How difficult would it be to get an advertisement on rte during the grove documentary? would certainly get a lot of publicity that way!

I think a lot of it is by word of mouth.  But next time round, I think they need a bigger venue.  All tickets were sold out, and they could easily have sold plenty more

The first time I heard about the Grove reunion was a poster at the Shop&Go and AIB at the the Artane Roundabout. I think its St Brigids road ?
That would have been for last Halloween or Summer reunion I don't which. But I didn't go thinking that it would have been a young crowd... How wrong was I to be

My mam sent me the newspaper to Oz, knowing I spent my teenage life in the grove.

Maybe someone in admin could contact different irish groups around the world advertising this site.

If I knew how to do it myself I would. Can just about manage email. Sorry.

But I'll email all my friends here in Oz and get them to tell all their irish friends about it.

That's a great idea Lesley, when I finally get a landline/broadband in my apartment I'll get cracking on it. It's been 7 months and counting!!! Eircom, a useless shower of "See You Next Tuesday's". Nothing is simple in this country, when I make my millions I'm outta here!

Ah yes but where else would you have had something like the Grove and what its become?

And the more I travel the more I see that everywhere is full of " I'll be down to do that job on Tuesday missus - but I won't say which Tuesday!"  Just in a different language, with a different accent.  (except maybe Germany, never been but I hear they're fierce efficient over there)

Gotta agree with the X ...we were in Spain last year...Torrevieja..which is quite a big town/city and when I was trying to find a wi-fi hotspot nobody I spoke to even knew what it was...they just kept sending me to bars with Internet ready PC's that half the time didn't even work...
