Did anyone see the news about the plane mistaken the Days Hotel in Ballymum as the run for Dublin Airport. Remember a few weeks back myself and Verh were bitching about the planes flying over our house because they changed flights paths for a couple of Nights ? What I think is ludicrous is all the fuss that was made about getting rid of the high-rise buildings in Ballymun then they let somebody stick a 16-story hotel there in place of the tower blocks that is proving more dangerous than the original towers themselves? And there I was snoring my brains out in our apartment about 20 yards in front of the hotel!!! Didn't hear anything about it until the RTE news on Wednesday. Scary stuff indeed. Of all the things I could have proposed that would have done for me, you would have got great odds on the aul' plane into apartment block scenario. At last they get rid of the scangers In Ballyer and then the planes move in! At least the planes will leave you with your wallet! ------------- Half my life I spend deciding if the other half is all that exciting... |
