Here we are again,like greedy children in a sweet shop but pleeeeeaaaassse make an announcement
soon-I promise we'll be good and do what we're told. Seriously,it's been said before about all of the preparations for a re-union and all that goes on behind the scenes and the stuff we don't see or hear about to make them happen and we really,really,really do appreciate the hard work.,and of course Cecil's commitment as well,considering recent thread rumblings of 'His Last Re-union' etc. BUT!!! ... Please put us out of our misery...Will there? Won't there??? ------------- There are three kinds of people in the world,those who are able to count,and those who can't... |

Nothing definite as far as I know. Venue an issue. Cecil's on for doing one but Isaac Butt's was damaged recently by flooding. Gary may have an update on this. ------------- May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride. Biker Pat Grove 1972-1975 |

Was talking to Cecil today. Andy was over last weekend talking to the Issac Butt people regarding the venue.
He is back next weekend to conclude talks. If this venue is not available then they have suggested "The Vaults " which are under Connolly Station, and very handy for Train, Dart and Luas. What I can confirm at this point, is the total commitment on the part of everyone to make sure that IT HAPPENS ------------- THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE BUT IT'LL PISS YOU OFF FIRST |

I'll try and make it whatever the venue, had a Christmas party in the vaults a few years back. Not a bad spot at all, not bad at all. Laura had to go in for her four / six week checkup in the rotunda the following day - I was struggling to cope with minding the three of them after far too many pints and far too late a departure. ------------- I'm searching for that cash I should have saved for the crash |

Yes Brian-the Mac are playing on Saturday the 24th Oct (and now with an extra date added Sun 25th) but traditionally the re-unions,particularly on long weekends are usually on Sundays. (I hope- otherwise I'll be missing one of them...) I wonder if Oct 31st is a runner its Sat night after the long weekend ??? Fleetwood Mac won't be playing that weekend and I be home from London.... I'm just been selfish because I want to go

Rock on Floyd.  Andy and Cecil set the date and venue. We adjust our schedules where possible to meet THEIR needs. If you can't make it that's ok. You're right June-on one hand I'm hoping it won't be held on the Fleetwood Mac night,but then
again I don't expect to urge any persuasion. They could announce to have it on Christmas morning and it would be up to us if we could make it or not. Right just off the phone to Cecil. Andy has a meeting this afternoon with Issac Butts, who have repaired the pub after the flood and replaced the floor. They're looking to rent the pub to others at the moment so Andy is going to ask them to take it over for a night. He is also going to the Vaults to have a look and to talk to them. Both Andy and Cecil are insistant that the Re-union WILL go ahead. Hope to have further news after the weekend
