In anticipation of next Sunday's Grove Reunion, we'll be warming you up with a Grove webcast, live tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 9pm, from The Good Bits on Store St., here in Dublin. It will be a two hour event hosted by Cecil Nolan where he'll be playing many Grove favourites and talking about all things "Grove". This will be an interactive night, where you can request your Grove favourites. Kick off at 9pm. Here's the link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/an-evening-with-cecil---hallowe-en-10 - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/an-evening-with-cecil---hallow e-en-10

I love these webcasts,it's like
being back at the feet of the
music master himself.I'm lucky enough
to have the computer in the bedroom so
I'll lie down on the bed click on to
full screen and I'm back in my minds eye
to a place that holds wonderful memories.
When I see or hear Cecil I am 15 years old
and invincible again.

Apologies folks for tonights shambles.
We'd a huge technical difficulty to overcome, but through my brother's genius and persistence, we managed to air just over an hour. Thanks for that Paul. A ton of work goes on behind the scenes to bring these webcasts to you - Kay and Jackie can vouch for that. But we got there for an hour of air time in the end.
Thanks to the Fagan sisters, Kay and Jackie for coming in and giving the webcast some life.
Thanks to the crew behind the scenes, Jess and Mick for their trojan work, despite the hurdles.
Finally, thanks to you all for hanging on in there and entertaining yourselves and us.
Here's to a seemless Sunday!

Great craic.
Well done all for overcoming the technical issues - we managed to entertain outselves with online chat and banter while we waited.
Well done Kay and Jackie for taking the chair.
Well done Cecil for your self control while the girls went at it.
Well done Andy for organising.
Looking forward to Sunday (and Atomic Rooster).

Did you notice that Cecil looked
far younger last night than he did
on the documentary it must be because
he was between two lovelies and having
great fun. Maybe there is something in
that for us all.

Well done Andy, Paul and crew,
Really didn't realise all the work that goes on in the background to get something like this up and running - - well done Andy & CO also for persevering (lads you should have seen the lengths they had to go to in order to get the show up and running).
Unfortunately I won't be there on Sunday to buy you guys a drink as am in UK but have a toast on me. So Cecil and gang - - you are saved from playing Dreamer on Sunday!!!
Well done again Andy - - round of applause for all your hard work
Cheers
x Jackie

Watched the show last night - it seems the gremlins were in the technology 24 hours later.....the first piece was simply the Grove Reunion documentary and it was almost that this was filmed over it (similar to an old VHS tape which is used too many times!).
The bit I saw and worked looked and sounded very good. I take it Uncle Arthur ('Rolo's Tommy') did not get Atomic Rooster in the end....

The classic "Tomorrow Night" is just as good and really got them noticed, with special thanks to Alan Freeman, who played and played the song on Pick of the Pops.
