Gerry Rafferty of, among others, Baker Street fame passed away on Jan. 4th 2011 from liver failure, R.I.P.

RIP.

He was in The Humblebums with Billy Connolly before then forming Steelers Wheel. He left us 2 classic tracks - Stuck In The Middle With You as well as Baker Street.

I still have his first 2 solo albums - City To City and Night Owl. Both excellent. I will dig them out and give them a spin as a tribute to Gerry.

One of my all time favourite musicians. I have all his
albums and listen to them regularly. I never tire of
hearing his music. It`s sad that he`s gone.

This is a real shock.

Super musciian with a legacy of some great songs.

Whether with Stealers Wheel or solo this guy was excellent.

I saw him in Stadium and if you go to 'rock photos' you'll see photos of that concert.

RIP Gerry.
