A welcome addition to the Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Louth and Meath airwaves, Rock 94.9FM, even if they only broadcast at the weekends - it's better than a kick in the f!@**y. So tune in and rock on!

It's great isn't it Andy? Mentioned this earlier on another thread-fantastic to hear decent music on FM for a change... They broadcast from Friday morning to late Sunday night-temporary licence. But hey! Give them your support-listen in. Even the odd text into them to know we appreciate what they are playing.

Hi MEL....entered the competition a few times but no luck
 . They said the lines went into meltdown every time they announced an opportunity to enter (every few hours) . There must be plenty of listeners..

Listened a little and liked. Pity about the Dec 2nd end date, hopefully that might be extended? One bug bear would be Saturday afternoon's DJ / announcer with his phony American accent. Leave that to the 2FM jocks pleeeeease. Loved the "Other stations have to make an excuse to play good music in between the Britney Spears, we don't" - great line. |
