Yep we used to make houses out of them.

Also remember the "horse-jumping" my dad used to set up a whole course for us out the back garden and we would have competitions with all the neighbouring kids.

Thats the other thing I remember we used to go around in packs literally gangs of us in the summer.

all the mums would sit out the front on their kitchen chairs to keep a weather eye on us.

Does anyone remember the clapping game.   two people stood facing each other and clapped their hands -   One rhyme was Three, six, nine The goose drank wine The monkey chewed tobacco on the street car line   The line broke, the monkey got choked
And they all went to heaven in a little row boat  Clap Clap.

I remember the clapping game Mary but I didnt play it (my sisters did though).  I remember the second verse alright but not the first one - although that verse is featured in the movie 'Flatliners' (one of my all time favourites actually, that movie).

Edit: Uh oh, I've now gained the "I have no life" title (I knew that anyway!).  On the plus side, I now have access to Peters Secret Lab!!).

Yeah Sean, but now he is REALLY,REALLY old.

yeah it was a girls game.   Funny that - we played cowboys and indians and football with the boys but they never played any of the girls games !!!! too cool I suppose.
