Pat McManus is playing in the Slaughtered Lamb pub in
Swords,on Friday 20th February if anyone is interested ?
the gig usually starts between 10-1030pm,and there is no
cover charge.
so if you have no plans that night, pop along, and see a true guitar genius that is Pat'the professor'McManus
upon us all,a little rain must fall

Pat asked me to post this,he got it from Pat's Bass Player.

Subject: pat mcmanus band
Date: Tue, 20 Jan 2009 14:56:20 +0000

Hi there pat,
Gordon here, just wanted to give you advance warning that Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake is guesting with us on a quick tour in March.Bernie is probably best known for writing songs like 'Here I Go Again', 'Aint No Love In The Heart Of The City', 'Fool For Your Loving', etc...
We're only doin 5 nights around the country from the 12th to the 17th of March, finishing off with a very special gig on St Patricks Day in Navan, when Johnny Fean from Horslips will also guest with us.
Hard to believe, but we're playing on the 15th in the Slaughtered Lamb in Swords!
This is a rare chance to see one of the greats with us in one of our favourite venues, you will never see the likes of this again.
We have decided to limit the number of tickets to 100, only our true friends and fans. I seen a few of the Grovers at a wild gig we did in balbriggan the other night, i was going to tell them about the gig but thought maybe you might want to organise a night out for the crew around this very special event?
Let me know what you think, numbers are limited and we're getting inundated of enquires from people but Pat, Paul and myself wanted to make sure you guys get first refusal on the tickets, by way of a sincere thanks to you and to all your fellow Grovers for your loyal support over the last year.
By the way admission will be a very reasnoble €10, or there will be a special commemrative t-shirt and ticket
for €22, either way its terrific value.
It will be an early enough gig, we will play from 8pm to 10.15pm, so there will be plenty of time for a chat or autographs and photos afterward.

Talk to you soon,
Where are you?

Gordon Sheridan

Unfortunately not Grainne. Too much going on at the minute to think about taking something else on.

I'll ask Pat what the story is about tickets.
