Below are photos of rural Thai life that is not often seen by the foreign eye. The photos include Puy's home, her family and friends, Thai eating habits, rural Thai farming methods and countryside, rural Thai fishing methods and Thai merit making which Thai's perform at special occasions. Puy's home in Khampang Phet in north west Thailand. You see those big vats. Well they collect rain water in them for domestic use. Not like here where we have all the rain we want but apparently can't store it and want to drain our beloved Shannon.  Edited by Biker Pat |

Puy's nephews in boy scout uniforms. The dog is a character but was a bit bold that day. When Puy's father played his stuff, that dog came in from wherever and howled his head off and did so after he died. I was there for that howl.  Edited by Biker Pat |

Mealtime in the Khamphumee household. Thai's traditionally sit on the floor and share dishes of food. However I sit on a chair as I get cramp when sitting like they do   Edited by Biker Pat |
