Suggested on another thread that everyone bring him something small but beautiful - if you have no money, f.... it bring something you love but understand that he deserves it more than you do.

ok i think u should ask cecil if / when suits him in HBs rather then just picking a date that suits us.  And as regards pressies V I really dont think Cecil is in to that the mere fact that we are all still here and attending reunions etc is what really matters to him. after all it always was about the music.

I hate to admit this but I agree with you this time. We done the birthday thing last year for his birthday with present last year. I think getting a pressie would be overkill, I think an informal night out for a few drinks would be better and I think Cecil would be happier with that....
