I was just wondering if this thread would work or is it too personal.

Wanted to see what members surnames are and where you and your parents originated.

Me might find we're all related

Just simple information.

My surname and place of birth : McMorrow, Celtic Park, Dublin 9.

Father : McMorrow, Mohill, Co Leitrim.

Mother : Keaveny, Tynagh, Co Galway.
May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

I don't know the name but McMorrow is a very common surname in Leitrim.

Rolo,

The surname Early.

That was the name of the people that bought my father's house down in Mohill when it and the farm was sold back in the early 60's.

Also Pat..
Hubbies mothers maiden name i.e his maternal surname is KEAVENEY also.

They hail from somewhere near Kells, Co Meath.

My Dads maternal surname was Ffrench...
My Mothers´maternal surname was Gaffney.

The Ffrench´s hailed from Sligeach at one stage and emigrated to Scotland 19th/20th century..maybe that is where the GRAHAM comes in or came in who knows ??.

OK Pat, looking like 7 -3 to the Dubs at this stage although there may be a stewards enquiry where Robbie is concerned .
